We are very sad to share the news with you all that long serving member of staff Catherine Greene sadly passed away due to illness on the 27th May. 

Catherine joined the school in 2007, initially as Ms Rooke's Administrative Assistant in Performing Arts. She cared deeply about the school and undertook a number of different roles within the support structure. She became a student support officer working with families and students who needed additional care to support their outcomes. In this role, she absolutely excelled, ably supported by Ms Beswick and Ms Ballard.

Catherine was an incredibly empathetic member of our team at the school. We valued her immensely and can categorically say that her interventions and relationships were life-changing for our students and staff. 

There will be a condolence book for students who may wish to pay their respects and we know you will join with us as we share our thoughts with her two daughters. Catherine loved the school and enriched us all with her care. We are sad to share in her loss.
