Keeping Your Child Safe

At Hornsey School for Girls the safety, behaviour and well being of students are of maximum importance. This page provides links and documents to a host of information to ensure students are safe.

Core Learning Time and Assemblies are used to remind students the importance of remaining safe and how to report any incidents to the school.

Tackling Child Abuse (HM Government/DfE)

The government has launched a campaign called 'Together we can tackle child abuse'. The resources are aimed at everyone in the community and include some short videos explaining physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual abuse, neglect and online abuse.

The simple mnemonic, ABC, is used to remind people that they should look out for changes in appearance, behaviour or communication. The webpage has a search engine to find out where to report abuse.
