Free School Meals

All families can check whether they can access free school meals and are encouraged to do so! There are changes being bought in for FSM families and processes for Sept 2026

If your child is eligible for Free School Meals it is worth registering them even if they are not going to have a school lunch. Schools receive a 'Pupil Premium', an extra payment for each eligible child which the school can spend on extra support like tuition or equipment.

For every child registered Hornsey School for Girls receives additional funding. Registering may also ensure you qualify for reductions e.g. music lessons and school trips.
