Mr Macaskill

It gives me immense sadness to inform you that Mr Macaskill, our school business manager passed away last week following a short and aggressive illness.

Many students would have come into contact with Mr Macaskill through his school duties. He undertook regular lunch supervision as well as working with student leaders and the eco club to enhance the school through new catering contracts and environmental projects. He was critical to school supporting our systems and ensuring that teachers and members of staff had all they needed to improve the school for students. He will be greatly missed by us all

Mr Macaskill joined the school in 2018 and worked throughout the pandemic to ensure that complex operations and new ways of working could be supported to mitigate against the spread of the virus. He was an extremely dedicated conscientious individual and we are grateful that he joined us to share his skills and talents with the school community. He cared deeply about the school

Any child or carer wishing to pay their respects will have an opportunity to write a message of condolence that will be passed on to the family at a later stage once the school re-opens.

He was a much loved son and brother who will be dearly missed. I know you will join with me to send our heartfelt condolences to his family at this time.
